Why the Demand for Houses and Increasing Prices?

First, lets look at the demand on housing. Over the previous decades people have started to marry later in life, get divorced more often and live longer. All of which have meant an increase in single person (and parent) households – either by choice or situation!

The increase in the general population (now 60 million in the UK for the first time) has been aided by an influx of Polish and EU immigrants in recent years that has lead to further pressures of housing, although it has to be noted that they tend not to live in single households and live in shared households to keep costs low. Immigration and the demand on housing has been highlighted by the British National Party and the other far-right wing political parties in the UK.

Some people are now living in caravan style homes and buying flat pack homes are increasing in popularity due to the cost savings involved. Houses made of straw are another eco method becoming popular due to its insulating properties. Other schemes involve two strangers buying a house together so that they can get a foot on the housing ladder. Some housing associations allow you to buy a percentage of the home 25-75 percent normally and then pay rent until you can afford to buy the remaining share. This would be a good deal for the housing associations as they could recover the cost of the build via a 75% cost sale and make money on a weekly basis due via the rents. Then again, they could just make a profit by selling 100% of the house and they wouldnt have the administrative duties of collecting the weekly rents. Maybe this is something the government could make more attractive to house builders in the way of tax incentives to help first time buyers get on the housing ladder.

I am lucky in that myself and my partner earn enough to buy our first home but still money is tight and I just hope that interest rates dont continue to rise which could make it difficult for us and thousands throughout the UK that already struggle with high mortgage repayments due to the increasing prices. I sometimes wish that I had trained as builder then I would never be short of work….or money!

Here are some of the four top tips for filing accident claims fairly and smartly.

Tip 1. Lying Does Not Pay

Rachel was nervous because she had lied. She had told the insurance agent that her hearing was fine before the accident. But the truth was that she could barely hear in her left ear since a boating accident 20 years ago. But Rachel felt there was no way the insurance company would get hold of her old medical records.

But the truth did surface when the insurance company did its background checks, and because she lied the entire accident claims was denied, and Rachel got nothing.

Be truthful to your lawyer, doctor, etc. about your medical condition before and after the accident. Disclose all prior accidents and injuries as insurance companies share accident information in a central database, so there really is no place for you to hide data about your past conditions. And do not fake a post-accident disability. This is easy to detect. If you claim a serious back injury from an accident and get videotaped playing tennis for six hours straight by an insurance company investigator, you will have ruined your case and your future credibility as well.

Tip 2. Don’t Underplay Extent of Injury

Don’t underplay any actual disability caused by the accident. Some injuries are intermittent, or may grow in severity. Do NOT hesitate to report any and all instances of a disability, even if it varies in severity and duration. Be sure to report all these variations and occurrences to your doctor, and make sure you get a record of the medical reports for the insurance company. Such documentation will be essential to win in an accident claim case. Don’t depend on your memory; the court demands proof to investigate and make informed decisions.

Tip 3. Don’t Sign a Release Without Checking with Your Lawyer

Insurance companies will want you to sign a release for ‘any and all claims’. Never sign such a release without checking with your lawyer and being completely satisfied with everything contained in the release.

Tip 4. Fight for your Rights

No insurance company is keen to pay you quickly, with the maximum compensation you deserve. It’s their job to try to figure out how to reduce their outgoing payments. But don’t lose heart. If you follow all the procedures, get a good attorney to help you with your accident claim case, and do all that’s necessary, you will have a good chance of winning your case and getting your just dues. It makes sense to check the marketplace, not only for the best rates, but also if you have pets other than dogs or cats then you will need to know what coverage is available. Few insurance plans are policies designed to cover dogs only. Furthermore, few insurance plans will various other aspects pertaining to your pet, including covering “advertising and reward” posters for lost pets, including if the pet is stolen, strayed away from home, and so forth. The coverage may include ‘burglar reward” and transporting fees and “personal accident.” The Travel Pet coverage plans will cover “kennel/cattery” and “holidays,” as well as cancelled trips. Check the market, or your current pet insurance agency, since the Pet Insurance plans will combine two types of coverage at discounted rates.

The other good thing about Amazon’s M-turk is that it is owned and operated by Amazon so you know it’s legitimate and that you are going to get paid.

Another popular way to make free money online is by signing up for a paid survey service. These sites are promoted everywhere on the web including Craig’s List. They promise to pay you for your opinion on new products and services. This is true! But–there’s a catch. First, they require you to give them all your personal information, which is always a bit concerning. Second, they pay you to test products–but you need to buy the product or subscribe to the service first. For example, last month I signed up for an online postage service. The survey website I signed up through promised to pay me 1 dollar to try the service for free. However, signing up for the postage service was a year commitment at $14.99 a month with the first month for free. Thus, they automatically bill your credit card for the second month unless you call to cancel. And yes, you guessed it: I forgot to cancel. So I got charged $14.99 for something that only paid me $1. On one level it was my fault for not cancelling. But, in this busy world it’s easy to forget to cancel a monthly service and find yourself on the line for something you do not want or need. Thus, I recommend that you stay away from “paid survey” sites. They do work if you are diligent in cancelling the services you sign up for. But these sites make their money by banking on people forgetting to cancel the service they signed up for. In my opinion the risk is not worth the reward.

There is a third way to make free money online that I like very much. It involves opening up zero percent credit cards and creating an “arbitrage” situation for yourself. It is not as complicated as it sounds and works every time. But it is too long to go into here. It is described in detail on our website.

So, the answer is yes! There are legitimate ways to make free money online but you need to be very careful about which method you use. Be careful or you can end up losing more free money than you make.
